FAQs

An escape room (also known as an escape game) is an interactive entertainment where up to 8 players are locked in a themed room and must use their wits, intelligence, and teamwork to solve a variety of clues and puzzles to escape the room within 60 minutes. The game will call on your skills of observation, critical thinking, and creativity to free you and your team from your timed adventure. But you’re not alone — a gamemaster will watch over the proceedings via in-room cameras to give helpful hints as you explore the room.

A single admission to each room is $29 per player. You can book your experience online and pay via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.

Our rooms are 100% safe for all players. No special physical requirements are necessary.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time so that we can give you an introduction to your room experience and go over a few house rules. You’ll also be asked to sign a standard waiver at that time. If your party arrives late and we’re able to accommodate you, then we’ll do our best to do so. However, if there’s another party scheduled immediately after your time, you’ll be asked to reschedule.

Food and drink are strictly prohibited within the escape rooms. You’re welcome to snacks and a drink in the lobby once you complete the experience.

Generally if your team doesn’t escape, your gamemaster will walk you through the remainder of the game, so there’s not much benefit in replaying the game.

Not at all. Although you’ll feel the pressure of the clock as you play the room, you’re always free to leave if you feel the need. (Please note: the clock will continue to count down even if you exit.) Your gamemaster will also be watching your game via in-room cameras the entire time and can enter to assist in case of emergency.

Some escape rooms have horror themes or scary elements, but ours do not. The themes and content are completely family-friendly, but we do ask that all guests be ages 12 and up.

Yes! Our facility is available for private functions. If you’re interested in having a private escape room experience for your friends, family, or work team, please contact us at info@escapade360.com or 847-701-4360 to discuss it.

Our facility is accessible. We’re located on the third floor of our building, and there is an elevator available. However, there are also small steps in our lobby area, and guests who use wheelchairs may find the experience in the actual escape room a bit challenging to maneuver. Please feel free to call us at 847-701-4360 with any questions before booking.

You can e-mail us at info@escapade360.com or call us at 847-701-4360.

There’s ample FREE parking near the building, including street parking, a gravel lot immediately to the south, a paved city lot just beyond that, and a parking garage within a couple of blocks.

Although all of our rooms are family-friendly, they’re best enjoyed by players 12 years and up. Please note: All players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.

The da Vinci room holds up to 6 players, and the Sherlock room can accommodate up to 8 players. If your party does not book the entire room, another party may book the remaining slots.

If your group is fewer than the room’s maximum number of players (6 for the da Vinci room, 8 for the Sherlock room), it’s possible that other people may reserve the same game time as you.

Nothing but your sense of adventure! Our rooms don’t require outside knowledge, so you won’t need your smartphone to consult Google. Everything you need to escape will be either in the room or in your head.

You can book online right here on our web site. If you prefer to call in your reservation, you can do so by calling 847-701-4360.

Unfortunately, reservations are non-refundable. However, if you find you can’t make your scheduled time, we’d be happy to move your reservation to another day. (If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least one hour prior to your original scheduled time.)

Absolutely! We have a lovely gift package that is available for birthdays, anniversaries, or any other occasion you like. Please call us at 847-701-4360 or visit us at our location for details.

We want your escape room experience to be the best it can be, and for that to happen, you need to have all of your wits about you. A successful escape requires communication, collaboration, and concentration, so it’s best to save the celebration for after your great escape. There are even some great neighborhood places to hit once your visit is over. (Please note: Guests who appear to be under the influence may be denied entry and asked to reschedule.)
